Katrina Kacmar has been working in the early childhood field for over ten years. She is Lead Teacher certified for both preschoolers and infants/toddlers. Katrina received her education studying Early Childhood Education and Human Development and Family Studies at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. Prior to joining the ANS family, Katrina was a Lead Preschool teacher for Young World in Quincy and before that, an infant/toddler and preschool teacher for Bright Horizons in Braintree. When she isn't teaching preschool, Katrina is also a dance teacher for a dance studio in Braintree- something she has been passionately pursuing since high school!.

As an educator, Katrina views herself as a constructivist, believing children learn best when they're able to manipulate and interact with their learning and their environment. She believes children learn best through their hands and their five senses. She believes to be most effective as an early childhood educator, she must create a classroom that is safe, interactive, and collaborative. Most importantly, she believes every child deserves to feel and know that they are loved, appreciated, and welcomed as soon as they walk into her classroom.
